Meet Harl Hubbs[]
He gets roped into watching a novel about a woman who falls in love with a robot, when he comments on how it doesn't make sense that a human and machine fall in love Sarah shushes him while lying down on the floor with Roasty. When Harl passes by Sarah's house, she asks him to make a special door for roastie so Harl does just that, along with installing a similar door for her while Bellamy asks if Harl installed a "totally ignored third wheel boyfriend door", only for Sarah to laugh and say that he doesn't need one because he doesn't have wheels. Bellamy later attempts to get her attention by doing things like walking on all fours like Roasty or boasting that he can grow a mustache while Roasty can't, all to no avail.
Despite this, Sarah seemed to be aware of her relationship troubles as she asked Harl and the narrator to help her resolve them so Harl does just that. At the park, Bellamy sadly watches Sarah and Roastie together until Harl hands him a bucket of flowers to give to Sarah, who is visibly sad and lonely until Bellamy arrives and gives her the flowers, which make her happy and the two share a moment while Roasty plays the violin for them.
Personality[]
He is a nice man who loves his girlfriend very much but he can get upset when Sarah spends too much time with Roasty.
