"Bob and Clemmons' Excellent Adventure" is the seventh episode of the second season and the twenty-seventh overall of LEGO City Adventures. It first aired on July 12, 2020.
Synopsis[]
Firemen Bob and Clemmons retrieve the bizarre requests of Chief Freya during a typical emergency.
Plot[]
The episode begins with the fire company heading to put out a fire that has broken out at the fireplace store. Bob attempts to spray water from a hydrant, but it is jammed. Fire chief Freya McCloud tells Bob and Clemmons to fetch her a soprano, the world's largest whipped cream can, and a hundred issues of this month's Fashion Lady magazine without giving them much explanation. They discover that Freya's husband, Mark, is stuck on the roof because he accidentally went up the stairs instead of down. Freya also demands a box of ugly Christmas sweaters and tells Bob to go with Clemmons. Bob is reluctant to go, but Freya insists that he steps out of his comfort zone.
After a few seconds, Bob and Clemmons return with everything Freya has asked for. She has the soprano sing so loudly that she breaks the windows. Then, Bob and Clemmons rip out the free shampoo samples from the magazines, which they then load into the giant can. They then spray the whipped cream at the fire, putting it out. Freya then ties the Christmas sweaters to her back and has Roasty launch her to the top of the roof. She gets Mark and uses the sweaters to parachute to safety. Freya later shows this as a clip to her fellow cadets. One cadet asks how Bob and Clemmons got the items she asked for after others ask to slide down the fire pole. Freya realizes she never thought about and decides to rewind from their perspective.
After Bob goes with Clemmons, they first decide to find the magazines. They head over to Mr. Producé, who gives them all 100 copies for free due to there being an emergency and that nobody anyway buys them. Bob gets a paper cut from loading the magazines onto the truck, so Clemmons handles it, surprising Bob that he is so calm under pressure. They next decide to hit the whipped cream factory and head over to Little Hubert's whipped cream factory. The largest can of whipped cream is empty until a giant mixing bowl is installed and his engineers are away doing a team-building exercise. Clemmons gets an idea and decides to take Bob to the fire helicopter.
Clemmons pilots the helicopter, which scares Bob. Before returning to the factory, Clemmons makes a pit stop at Harl Hubbs' shop to install a giant magnet to the helicopter. They pick up a truck full of whipped cream and bring it to the factory. After loading it into the bowl, Clemmons flies the copper upside down to mix it, which makes Bob even more nervous. Once the whipped cream bottle is filled, they decide to find the soprano next and head to the opera house. Clemmons distracts the other singers so he can recruit the soprano to help them.
While finding the last item, Bob is disappointed that Clemmons was calm the entire time while he freaked out. Clemmons responds that he was scared his first time as well, but eventually starting enjoying it after some practice. Bob then says to find the ugly Christmas sweaters, but Clemmons does not know where to find them. Bob realizes that his aunt Irene has ugly Christmas sweaters and they head over to her house to get them. They arrive at aunt Irene's house and she directs them to her dark and scary basement for the sweaters. Bob decides to go in and conquer his fears. After a time-consuming (and most likely painful) journey, Bob returns with the Christmas sweaters. Bob and Clemmons then take everything to the fireplace store.
Once the film is finished, one cadet asks how Bob and Clemmons managed to complete what would have taken hours in just under a few seconds. The episode ends with Freya allowing the rest of the cadets to slide down the fire pole due to not having an answer.
