Deputy Mayor Carol Yea is the mother of Madison Yea and the assistant of Mayor Solomon Fleck.
History[]
City landmark feud[]
When R. E. Fendrich and Mary Sinclair arrived at mayor Solomon Fleck's office demanding that their respective towers be considered the city's landmark, Carol cringes when she senses a fight between the two is about to start. She then breaks the argument by suggesting that both buildings should be measured and the tallest one will be the city's symbol, leading to the rivals competing to build up their towers. Carol joined Fleck and many others at the measuring ceremony, and waited for Harl Hubbs to slowly measure the buildings. However, the group witnessed the buildings beginning to lean, and ultimately forming the Fendrich-Sinclair arch and the new city symbol.[4]
Fire at city hall[]
Carol brings her daughter Madison with her to the Mayor's office as she has just picked her up from school. She then tells the Mayor about all the things that she and other employees did during the day before she asks the Mayor to watch Madison while she goes to get groceries, to which he somewhat reluctantly agrees. She is later seen as she comes back to the Town Hall, only to find it on fire due to Daisy Kaboom's flammable liquid that was confiscated from her and acrobats fighting with people who acted like pirates and watches as the Funky 46 set everything right and rescue Madison and the Mayor. When the Mayor tries to go back to work, Carol scolds him for it since she nearly lost her daughter and that everybody should go home and be thankful and nobody was hurt since her family is important to her just like the city is to him, which is "like one big family". She then gets the idea of sending a citizen to the Mars mission in order to represent their city. The Mayor approves of her idea, now referring to her as "Big Madison" and her daughter says they should get ice cream, which the Mayor also agrees to and the three of them walk away holding Madison's hands as the Mayor starts talking about work.[2]
The mayoral election mix-up[]
Carol has to deliver the Mayor's speech as he runs for mayor against R. E. Fendrich as well as give Madison her own speech as she is running for class president but thanks to Fendrich's crooks she accidentally ends up mixing both speeches, which in the end turns out well for both the Mayor and Madison as it lead to them winning their elections.[5]
Christmas party[]
Carol and the Mayor attend Sinclair's Christmas party, where Duke tries to greet them with a hug, although they just greet him awkwardly and avoid said hug after Duke mispronounces Happy Holidays. Later, she saw chocolate-dipped peppermint sticks purposefully made by Big Betty and Vito, knowing it'll taste good.[6]
