History[]
Race to the Top, the forming of the arch[]
The City Council wants an official landmark for the city, since Carol said it's good for tourism. R. E. Fendrich barged in and said for the landmark to be Fendrich Tower. Mary Sinclair barged in too and told the landmark to be her tower, debating that it's taller than Fendrich's. When they left, both of them had a plan to make it taller. Sinclair decided to get rid of Fendrich's workers by going to the opera house, but she forgot that Fendrich owns the opera house, and added it to his building. Since Sinclair owns the opera house helicopter towing company, adding the opera house to her tower. After a long time, Fendrich and Sinclair had added a lot of height to their towers by building more buildings. Then, the buildings were about the same height. The night before the landmark competitions, a worker of Sinclair found Top Hat Tom, telling him to stand on the top of Sinclair's building. Meanwhile, on Fendrich's building, his workers were told to put a wobbly metal rod on the top, a counterpart to Top Hat Tom on Mary Sinclair's building. The day of the landmark competition began. When Harl Hubbs was measuring Fendrich's building, Clemmons saw Sinclair's tower falling with Top Hat Tom worrying. He also saw the balloon of Cubby hitting the tip of Fendrich's building. making it fall down too. The two buildings were about to hit each other. Top Hat Tom managed to escape. The towers hit, forming the Fendrich-Sinclair Arch, as what Mayor Fleck didn't expect to happen. He then declared it as the city's official landmark.
