Madison "Maddy" Yea is the daughter of First Deputy Mayor Carol Yea. She also is a friend of fire chief Freya's nephew, Billy McCloud. She is a student in Downtown Middle School in the city.

Biography[]
Mary Sinclair asks Carol about Madison (to give a good impression to the Mayor) and Carol proudly tells her that Madison won first place at a science fair.[6]
Haunted mansion?[]
Madison and Billy lose a frisbee in an abandoned and seemingly haunted house. Madison wants to go inside to get their frisbee back but Billy doesn't as the house scares him. Then Shirley Keeper, Duke Detain and Freya McCloud arrive and try to scare the kids with stories about the house's owner but Madison still goes inside the house while dragging a reluctant Billy along, only for both kids to escape once they see what appears to be the shadow of a monster, which was actually a pile of old belongings from the house's previous owners.[7]
Mayor's office incident[]
Madison visits Mayor Solomon Fleck's office after school and is made to stay with him while her mother gets groceries. Mayor Fleck is not thrilled about having to watch Madison, whom he refers to as "Small Carol", or her using his "special mayor pen" to do her homework but they bond after the building is set on fire and Madison helps the mayor escape.[2]
Madison is seen walking down the street with her mother with balloons until Buster's fake mustache flies up to Madison's balloon and breaks it’s string, causing it to fly away. Madison is sad by this and declares the world to be cruel and indifferent while Carol comforts her by giving her own balloon to her daughter.[8]
Madison has won despite having each Mayor Fleck's speech after Mayor Fleck won against R. E. Fendrich while Mayor Fleck has Madison's speech.[9]
Appearance[]
Madison has brown hair tied in pigtails with long, side-swept bangs. She wears an orange flowing halter top with light blue straps and one light blue seam around the chest and two daisies on the right side of the chest along with blue pants.
In Season 4, her outfit changes to a teal and white striped shirt with an orange sweater over it and blue pants. There is a daisy and smiling cat pin on the right side of the sweater.
Personality[]
Madison is a playful, kind, smart, brave, bold and adventurous young girl. Although she is nice she can also be mischievous since she likes rummaging through Mayor Fleck's things at his office and even throwing a book at his head.

- It is revealed in "The Spooky One" that Madison and Billy McCloud are classmates and have an ugly teacher, Krank whom they think may not be human due to her ugliness.
- Madison seems to be a fan of Poppy Starr since she had a Poppy Starr backpack in "Small Carol".
- According to the writers, Carol Yea is a single mother and it is currently unknown what happened to Madison's father.
- It is revealed in "Class Act" that Madison and Billy are older than they look since they attend middle school and the two share a desk.
- Madison is one of two main protagonists of Season 4, alongside Billy McCloud.
