"Stunt City" is the seventeenth episode of the third season and the fifty-seventh overall of LEGO City Adventures. It first aired on June 4, 2021 in Canada.
Synopsis[]
The stunt team shows up in the city ready to dazzle, they see the daily action around the city and realize they need to up their game.
Plot[]
The episode begins outside the stadium, where Police Chief Wheelie is doing tricks on his skateboard. A truck pulls up and Wheelie greets his brother Alex as he steps outside. They talk about how their Uncle Ollie always dreamt up a large stunt performance and how Alex made that dream come to life. When they see Billy and Maddie arrive, Alex gives them a large introduction featuring the Stunt Team: Rocket Racer, Raze, Spotlight, Wallop, and Incognitro. However, Maddie and Billy do not seem to be interested. They find the fire and police teams doing stunts naturally to handle crisises in the city, which leaves the stunt team in awe.
As Chief Wheelie departs, the stunt team is disappointed that there is more action happening in the city every day than in their own performances and decide to change it to make it more interesting, with Maddie and Billy volunteering to help. Alex initially believes that Uncle Ollie's stunt show is perfect the way it is but starts doubting it upon seeing the fire team chase after Clemmons hanging onto the giant Cubby balloon.
Maddie and Billy are still unimpressed after seeing the show and the team begins pitching with their own ideas; Raze has some stunts in mind, Spotlight wants there to be a story, Wallop wants to see things demolished, Incognitro has an idea that Wallop takes issue with, while Alex still wants to keep it the way it is. After an argument breaks out among the crew, Rocket Racer breaks it up by pointing out to Alex that while Uncle Ollie's vision should be honored, the show has to evolve. Alex comes up with an idea to combine all the ideas everyone comes up with to give the city the performance of a lifetime. After careful planning and rehearsal, the show is ready to debut.
It is later opening night for the show, and Alex is worried that Wheelie came. The show is about to begin, and the story is that the giant Chimpanz-Evil is conquering a planet full of stunt performers. The opening stunt is that each member finds themselves on the wrong cycle and must trade bikes in mid-air. Maddie and Billy are worried, but the team successfully pulls it off. Wheelie later meets Alex after the show and praises him for the show. The episode ends with Incognitro supposedly giving a lesson, which Rocket Racer agrees with.
